The Alabama Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Fluids Code 2020 provides requirements for the safe storage, handling, transportation, and use of compressed gases and cryogenic fluids. This code applies to industrial, commercial, and institutional settings where such materials are used, ensuring safety for personnel, property, and the environment.

Exception #1: Certain small-scale applications, such as portable medical oxygen systems, may follow alternate requirements as approved by the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).

Exception #2: Agricultural use of compressed gases or cryogenic fluids may follow specific exemptions based on usage and local regulations.
