It includes requirements for structural integrity, impact resistance, ventilation, and emergency management.
The 2020 Oregon Storm Shelter Code adopts the ICC 500-2014 with amendments specific to Oregon’s environmental and safety needs. These modifications ensure that storm shelters in Oregon are built to withstand local weather conditions and provide maximum safety for occupants.
