Overview The Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) sets standards for the design, installation, and maintenance of plumbing systems, ensuring they are safe, sanitary, and efficient. It includes requirements for water supply and distribution, fixtures and fittings, sanitary drainage, stormwater drainage, and special piping and storage systems.
The 2023 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC) is based on the Uniform Plumbing Code 2021 (UPC 2021) with amendments and additions specific to Oregon. These modifications address the unique environmental conditions and public health needs of Oregon, ensuring that plumbing systems in buildings operate safely and efficiently.
