Save Money, Save Energy
This resource helps advocates understand the many benefits of supporting building energy code adoption and implementation. In Missouri, homes built to the current model energy code use 18-26 percent less energy than the state average, saving their occupants $337-559 per year in lower utility bills. That’s money that goes directly to consumers’ and companies’ pockets. The consumer education campaign is made possible by the combined efforts of the following organizations: Missouri Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Department of Energy and the Building Codes Assistance Project.
