Overview
The National Electrical Code (NEC) provides comprehensive regulations for the safe installation and inspection of electrical systems to prevent electrical hazards.
The 2017 North Carolina Electrical Code is based on the National Electrical Code 2017 (NEC 2017) with state-specific amendments and additions to meet the unique safety requirements of North Carolina.
