Overview
The ICC/ANSI A117.1 standard establishes technical criteria for making buildings and facilities accessible to and usable by people with disabilities.
The North Carolina Accessibility Code 2009 is based on the ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 standard, with specific amendments and additions tailored to North Carolina’s requirements for accessibility.
