Scope

Exception #1: Household refrigeration systems and small residential units may use exempt refrigerants if they meet the safety criteria specified in the IMC.
Exception #2: Temporary and mobile refrigeration systems used in industrial settings or during construction may be governed by separate regulations for refrigerant classification.
