Scope

Exception #1: Residential buildings with manually operated doors may be exempt from compliance unless they specifically use power assist or low energy power-operated doors for accessibility.
Exception #2: Temporary doors or installations in construction settings may have reduced requirements, subject to local jurisdiction.
