Scope
- The Georgia Metal and Flexible Duct Code applies to the design, installation, and construction of metal and flexible duct systems in HVAC applications. Exception #1: Low-pressure ducts for non-critical air distribution applications may follow simplified requirements if specified by local jurisdictions.
Exception #2: Temporary duct systems used in construction settings may have reduced requirements based on the intended use and duration.
